The Rutherford Vet Hospital’s Medical and Surgical services is the main point of interest for your pooch.  They are certified by the American Animal Hospital Association and use state of the art equipment to diagnose any problems that may arise with your doogie.  They also have a variety of services to choose from Wellness and Geriatric Care to Pet Taxi Services to Overnight Stays.   As the temperatures rise in the summers, an added bonus for day care and overnight guests is the pool for your doggie to cool down, and during the cooler months, the pool is heated for hydro therapy sessions.

Downtown Dog is located downtown Dallas and is 22,500 square feet and full of green grass, trees and open spaces.  For colder and rainer days, there are three indoor play areas.  The boarders have spacious sleeping areas and are separated by size with special areas for older and injured poochs.  There is a fantasy village for the smaller pups.  Bathing and Grooming are also available.

• Unleashed is also a destination sport for you and your pup.  It’s location is just not a place you stop by on the way to the grocery. 
• If you live in Dallas proper, it’s slightly out of the way, but again, well worth the trip.

Boarding: In June 2008, High-Stone Pet Lodge opened their new French Quarter village containing over 2000 square feet of climate controlled condos with antibacterial floors over a cool, concrete base. Each condo includes a six-foot custom wrought iron gating, six-inch orthopedic mattresses or a luxurious daybed. Soothing music is played throughout the day to create a relaxing environment. The Village is reminiscent of the New Orleans French Quarter with it’s custom wrought iron artwork creating the feeling of a courtyard. condo sizes vary: 4×8, 4×12 and 8×12. French Quarter Suites start at $45 and include no medication charges, day care for only $10 a day, luxurious bedding and comfy mattress, bowls with custom mats, The Deluxe T Kennel starts at $23 a night and includes a private condo with a bed, water and dinner provided with daycare costing $13 a day.

Daycare: High-Stone offers a large, interactive play area and provides a day-long structured program alternating different types of music with exercise and play in a climate controlled environment. A day with High-Stone includes supervised playtime, lunch, nap time, socialization and exercise. 

Grooming: A master groomer with over 30 years of eaceprience will magically make your pooch look beautiful in usually one to two hours. It includes a warm bath, specialty shampoo, conditioner, cut and style, blow dry, brush out, hygiene maintenance, nails clipped and a bow or bandanna. In addition, oil treatments are available for certain coats and skin conditions. No tranquilizers are used and appointments are encouraged. Prices will vary with size, and services so it’s best to call for details.
