The Perky Poodle has many decades of experience working with doggies, they even advertise that they have groomed celebrity pets!  Your pooch can get a groom, be an overnight guest and you can purchase their retail necessities.  If your dog has a shedding problem, check them out for their shed-out services.  They claim the process controls excess shedding and dramatically reduces the amount of hair around your home.

The Rutherford Vet Hospital’s Medical and Surgical services is the main point of interest for your pooch.  They are certified by the American Animal Hospital Association and use state of the art equipment to diagnose any problems that may arise with your doogie.  They also have a variety of services to choose from Wellness and Geriatric Care to Pet Taxi Services to Overnight Stays.   As the temperatures rise in the summers, an added bonus for day care and overnight guests is the pool for your doggie to cool down, and during the cooler months, the pool is heated for hydro therapy sessions.

The Boarding Bungalow advertises itself in being your pets vacation destination.  Your doggie will be in good hands as you are guaranteed 5 to 6 walks per day and 3 to 4 private playtimes lasting 10 to 20 minutes.  Your dog can also have its own private climate controlled cabana or suite. Grooming and spa treatments are also available.

There is defintely some country in this country club. Accomodations are basic and include options of indoor/outdoor runs or indoor only runs for large dogs. Small dogs enjoy two story lake view accomodations. Indoor/outdoor runs are 4X6 with 12′ outdoor runs through a doogy door which is accessible through the day. Outdoor activities are offered.  The daily schedule looks like this:

11:30AM Lunch and napping

1:00PM Afternoon activities and play time

4:30PM Evening medication

5:30PM Lights out!
